Dorset Chamber, the county’s business voice, has nearly 700 members representing 37,000 employees.

The chamber organises the President’s Ball to celebrate the president’s term and provide a networking opportunity for business people.

Mr Brown, who runs Ferndown-based Y-Not Finance, joined the chamber in 2016.

He became an ambassador, chair of ambassadors, and then a board member in 2019.
