About Us

ASPERMIGAS was established on February 15, 2006 consisting of 24 national oil and gas companies which was inaugurated by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources and the Head of BP Migas, as well as the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In 2006, ASPERMIGAS together with associations in the oil and gas sector such as IATMI, HAGI, IAGI, as well as GAPENRI, APMI, APROPIPE and APWI took the initiative to establish a National Oil and Gas Caucus which launched the concept of the Oil and Gas Caucus, in the proposal for Indonesia Incorporated 2020 for the Oil and Gas Sector, which among other things proposed so that the operatorship and ownership of national companies is increased from 20% to 80% in 2020, and TKDN in the oil and gas sector is increased from 15% to 90% in 2020.

 

In 2007, ASPERMIGAS and the National Oil and Gas Caucus submitted a proposal to the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia regarding the acceleration of increasing national oil and gas production of 1.3 million barrels per day and accelerating national independence.

Build the National oil and gas industry by contributing to the target of state revenues from the national oil and gas sector in the context of sustainable economic development that will prosper the Indonesian people.
