The CCISO represents professionals from the trade, industry and service sectors with local, provincial, regional and national public authorities, as well as with international organizations and institutions working in the fields related to its missions.

The missions of the CCISO

 Representative :

1- Represent and ensure the defense of the general interests of professionals in the trade, industry and service sectors within its territorial jurisdiction.
2- Participate with the public authorities in the development of plans and strategic choices in relation to its activities at the national, regional, provincial or local level.
3- Participate, within its territorial jurisdiction, in the work:

  •  Boards of directors of public establishments involved in the sectors it represents
    •  Boards of directors of agencies and offices managing public facilities and services within its territorial jurisdiction, in particular:
    •  wholesale markets,
    •  bus stations,
    •  slaughterhouses,
    •  ports, airports,
    •  the fairs,
    •  cold stores,
    •  urban transport agencies and local
      water and electricity distribution agencies,
    • councils of universities and regional education and
      training academies and public vocational training institutions
    •  all public establishments and enterprises.

4– serve as intermediaries between Moroccan professionals and their
foreign counterparts and between international organizations and
national organizations working in areas related to its missions.

 Advisory

1-     The Government must consult the CCISO on  :

Draft legislative and regulatory texts relating to the professional sectors it represents;

  • Solutions to problems relating to professional practices and customs;
  • Provisions for the organization of working conditions;
  • Public works and works to be carried out within its territorial jurisdiction and the collection of revenue, fees or expenses related to these works;
  • The establishment of general stores, warehouses and public auction halls for wholesale goods;
  • All questions of interest to the trade, industry and service sectors, in particular:

o    The customs regime

o    Legislation and regulations relating to commercial, industrial and service activity;

  • All measures aimed at simplifying administrative procedures relating to the company.

2-     Local administrative authorities and local authorities must consult the CCISO on:

  • The remuneration rates for the transport services granted to the chamber within its territorial jurisdiction.
  • The development of urban development plans and the realization of urban master plans as well as urban and rural development plans and the contribution to the realization of commercial development plans;
  • The creation of industrial and commercial zones and free zones;
  • The determination of prices for products and services;
  • The organization of trade fairs within its territorial jurisdiction;
  • Questions of special interest to trade, industry and services within its territorial jurisdiction, in particular:

o    General stores, warehouses, public auction rooms

o    Packaging and titration offices

o    Temporary and permanent exhibitions, commercial and industrial museums,

o    Trade exchanges

o    Brokerage Centers.

  •  The creation of markets and large commercial complexes;
  • The follow-up of proposals made by the CCISO and the presentation of requests relating to the sectors it represents.
