Our Values
Everything we do at the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce is about one thing: Putting more Coloradans to work. Nothing helps our families, neighbors, community and economy more than the opportunity for more of us to go to work in great jobs.
We never lose sight of our goal to put Coloradans to work. So, our focus is on all the ways we can make this happen: We help companies start, grow and thrive; we attract new headquarters, expansions and the country’s best, brightest and healthiest workforce to our region; we advocate for policy that makes us the best place to do business; we help educate the workers of today and tomorrow; we build leaders who share our Colorado’s Civic DNA™; we work towards solutions to our state’s most pressing issues; and we provide members with the network, resources and access to experts that helps them get ahead.
One hundred and fifty years ago we were started by a group of committed and bold business leaders to bring a rail spur to Colorado. That rail spur unlocked access to trade and people that transformed our economic future. And today we continue to focus on the critical issues that will determine the health of our community and economy for decades to come. Our members highlighted six priorities they consider the “rail spur” of today: water, education, Interstate 70, engaging unaffiliated voters, energy and housing. We’re unlocking solutions that improve these critical issues with enthusiasm and a spirit of collaboration, innovation and strategic thinking.
