Doganhisar BC. It was founded under the name of Metyos. The tomb of Seyyid Ahmet, who was martyred in these wars, which was captured by the Byzantine Empire in AD 704-708, and was attacked by the Umayyad and Abbasid armies in AD 704-708, is located in Kızılışık. After the Battle of Manzikert in 1071, during the westward expansion of the Seljuks, Doğanhisar was under Turkish rule. The name of the city was changed to “DOĞAN KALESİ”, in reference to the coat of arms of the Seljuks, the DOĞAN bird. It was later renamed Doğanhisar.
It was established in 1980 as a result of the efforts of Zeki Yılmaz PALAZ, a member of our Chamber, and has been rented since its establishment until the end of 2007, and has been moving to its own building since November 2007 and continues to serve its members.
There are still 5 occupational groups in Doğanhisar Chamber of Commerce, and the members of these occupational groups elect their professional committees with elections held every 4 years.
