ABOUT THE KFDA

Established in May 2008 and recognized by the Italian Government in 2013, the ITCCK has been working tirelessly, always in synergy with all the sections of the Italian Embassy.
The activities of the ITCCK have been developed with the Italian system of the Chambers of Commerce and all the Italian and Korean entities, such as institutions, companies and others looking for opportunities, with the aim of facilitating and strengthening the relations between Italy and the Republic of Korea.
The Chamber is becoming an increasingly important body for relations between Italy and Korea, covering the role of mediator and facilitator between institutions, companies, public and private entities in Italy and Korea. This is even more important today as Italy is working towards a closer partnership with Korea, an increasingly important country on the international scene, and to act as a promoter of this link with the European Union.
The cohesive role of the ties between our two countries is our first concern and the activities we put in place had precisely this purpose. 2018 was characterized by increased work by the Chamber regarding outgoing and incoming entrepreneurial delegations, sponsored networking events to bring together the Italian and Korean communities, promoting Italian cuisine through targeted events, the seventh Food Festival and the promotion of the “Ospitalità Italiana” certification.
