During the Ottoman period, the Chamber of Commerce-like structures began to emerge in 1876. In our region, in accordance with the provisions of the Rumeli Vilay Law was established in 1882 during the time of Governor of Edirne Kadri Pasha and a Chamber of Commerce was established in Kirklareli. According to the old records, the Chamber of Agriculture was united with the Chamber of Commerce and was administered by a chairman and seven members under the name of Chamber of Commerce, Agriculture and Industry. During the complex and war-filled years from the declaration of the constitutional monarchy to the proclamation of the Republic, there was no active Chamber of Commerce.
