The Malaysia-Qatar Joint Business Council (MQJBC) was established in February 2020 following the Malaysia-Qatar Joint Trade Committee Meeting in Kuala Lumpur in October 2019. The MQJBC is an integral part of the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM) to assist the business community between Malaysia and Qatar.

The MQJBC aims to achieve three major goals, which are:

Solid Network
To create a network for ideas, opportunities, and personal contacts that will promote trade and investment between Malaysia and Qatar, thus supporting the full spectrum of members from large corporations to small and medium enterprises.

Sustainable Cooperation
To promote greater understanding between the private sectors of Malaysia and Qatar to in collaborating towards developing a sustainable future via trade and investments.

Strong Partner
To collaborate with government authorities, to foster and deepen harmonious economic relations between Malaysia and Qatar.
