Created in 2000, the Moroccan Association of Capital Investors (AMIC) is an independent professional association. It is the only association recognized by the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC). Its representativeness makes it a point of reference.

- Effective and educational communication on the private equity industry
- Realization of statistical studies, surveys, guides and publications for professionals in the sector, institutional investors, entrepreneurs and public authorities as well as the press
- Development of Morocco’s attractiveness compared to competing countries for international institutional investors
- Amplification of the role and impact of private equity in the national economy in terms of wealth creation, growth and employment
- Stimulation of more interest from local institutional investors and ultimately the involvement of natural persons in the business
- Revitalization of this source of financing in order to support more Moroccan companies
- Intervention with the public authorities in the debates having an impact on the activity of private equity
- Contribution of guidelines and standards for the industry
- Implementation of a charter governing the private equity activity ensuring compliance with ethics
