Nigde Chamber of Commerce and Industry is one of Turkey’s oldest rooms. The establishment date goes back to 1914s. Established on this date, the Chamber continued its activities until 1950; however, it was closed for some reason on this date. The development of the economic structure of the province and the elimination of the conditions leading to the closure of the room made it necessary to reopen the room. As a result of the leadership and efforts of the leading merchants of Niğde, Niğde Chamber of Commerce and Industry was re-established in 1958 with the permits of the Ministry of Commerce dated 24/5/1958 and numbered 4/8332. The Board of Directors, which took office on 23/07/958, continued its activities under the chairmanship of Mr. Kemal TACİROĞLU.
