Ipoh was founded in 1880 in Kinta Valley, the most abundant of the Shixi Miao.
As the area of Ipoh was found to be rich in tin seedlings, the miners came to the mining area, which led to the rapid development of Ipoh, the increasing immigration of Chinese people, the active development of the industrial and agricultural fields, and the establishment of the economic foundation and the objective environment. Demand, so the miners Beard Spring, Yao Desheng and other leaders in 1907 organized the establishment of the China Chamber of Commerce.
