The Association of Indonesian Mechanical and Electrical Contractors was established and declared on November 25, 2009 in Jakarta, previously named the Indonesian Association of Mechanical Electrical Contractors, on March 17, 2016 in the Second National Conference it was agreed to change the name of the association on the deed of establishment which was previously the Indonesian Mechanical Electrical Contractors Association to Indonesian Mechanical and Electrical Contractors Association.
