As the sole national trade body, the MFC plays a proactive role aimed at benefiting members and the overall development of the industry. Through its representation in all the relevant authorities, the MFC spearheads the industry at the Federal and State Government levels.  MFC has successfully recommended and implemented suitable policies and plans that benefits the industry.

MFC  Organize promotional and marketing activities to enhance trade and competitiveness of Malaysian furniture in the world market to keep abreast of the latest developments and changes by actively participating in consultations conduct technical seminars and training for members by organizing Export Furniture Exhibition Malaysia (EFE) annually, which provides a global trade platform for export to international buyers.
