The Regional Chamber of Commerce of Valparaíso is the oldest Guild Association in Latin America, dating back to 1858. Since its inception, it became a relevant actor for the commercial activity of Valparaíso, helping to position its port as one of the main Pacific terminals.
During the 20th century, the Chamber continued its work of defending the interests of its associates, participating in the elaboration of laws and discussions that would forge the economic scenario of our country. Similarly, the CRCP was and continues to be an arduous advocate of decentralization, making significant progress in this area.
Today the CRCP is subject to opinion on the relevant issues of national events and among its associates it brings together more than 200 companies from all productive sectors of the Valparaíso region.
