TORBALI CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Our Chamber; was founded in 1978 with the contribution of Kadir Yedekaslan and his friends, leaving the Bayındır Chamber of Commerce with 427 members. Our chamber, which was in service under difficult conditions until 1993, increased its budget with the development of the economic potential of the district after 1993 and purchased the existing service building of 1.600m2. With the breakthrough in 2011, the construction of the new service building with a service area of 5.942m2 has started.

Our Chamber serves its 2.468 members with its 47 committee members in 7 committees, 20 council members, 7 board of directors members and 8 staff members. In 2008, our Chamber established ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System as an important step towards increasing the quality of service and successfully completed the audit and was entitled to receive the certificate. Our Chamber continues its walk on this road with regular inspections every year; it applied for the TOBB Accreditation System in 2011 and was admitted to the observation process with 28 chambers / exchanges. As a result of the successful and exemplary studies carried out in 2012, it was entitled to become an Accredited Chamber.

With the activities carried out in the last 4 years, our room has become an effective room which is frequently mentioned.

Activities that was organized by our Chamber; In the last 4 years, we have organized vocational training courses with our companies and related official institutions so that many young people can have jobs and professions. As an answer to the demands of our members; we organized many training programs, seminars and meetings, especially on legal issues, current issues. To assist our young entrepreneurs we’ve opened a KOSGEB representation office within our Chamber which is a first among the districts. Within the scope of KOSGEB Applied Entrepreneurship courses, we have given certificates to 210 young people. We’ve organized domestic and foreign trips in order to introduce our members to new markets. We’ve visited our members in order to identify their problems and to learn their thoughts about our Chamber. We’ve made attempts to solve the problems of our district by leading the NGOs. By reporting our district’s needs, we’ve sent them to regional deputies and ministers.

Now, in order to sign our name under new projects, we will keep working with all our strenght while keeping our excitement.
