The Pine Bluff Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted its June monthly luncheon featuring speakers Charles King, executive director of the foundation at Southeast Arkansas College, and Courtney Kline, SEARK dean of students.

“King and Kline shared recent developments at SEARK, highlighting a slight but steady increase in student enrollment over the past several semesters,” according to the chamber newsletter. “They also discussed exciting new offerings at the college, including expanded academic programs, the opening of a student dormitory, and the introduction of athletics to campus life.”

The meal was catered by The Wood Shed, with rave reviews for the barbecue.

“Special thanks to Express Employment Professionals for providing the sweet treats that rounded out a great luncheon,” according to the release. “Thank you to everyone who joined us — we look forward to seeing you at next month’s luncheon.”
