In Washington, DC, the Tripoli Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture signed a memorandum of understanding with the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC).

The MoU was signed after a 40-member Tripoli Chamber delegation completed their participation in the World of Concrete (WOC) 2023 exhibition, which was organized by AmCham Libya and took place in Las Vegas from January 17-19, 2012.

According to Tripoli Chamber, the MoU with NUSACC aims to strengthen trade cooperation, exchange experiences in various fields, support companies and facilitate the movement of business owners, organize joint economic conferences and exhibitions in both countries, and implement training and support programs aimed at chamber members and national elements.

The signing took place in Washington, DC, on the eve of a meeting between the Chairman of the Tripoli Chamber, Anwar Abu Sitta, and the President of the NUSACC, David Hammouda. In the presence of Richard Norland, Ambassador of the United States of America to Libya, NUSACC member James Smith, David Linfield, responsible for the Libya office in the US State Department, and Megan Doherty, Deputy Head of the Middle East Department at USAID,
