Following the huge success of the previous 14 editions, the Creative Industry Summit is introducing the first regional edition in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in collaboration with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce’s Advertising Committee.

The summit, which will be held from the 30th of October to the 1st of November at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, will feature elite speakers from the Kingdom and the region, as well as daily workshops and panel discussions. The Summit will also host an inaugural cocktail reception, which will bring together Egyptian and Saudi business leaders, thought leaders, decision makers, and public figures.

“We are honored by our partnership with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce to bring to light the Summit’s first regional edition and host it in Saudi Arabia,” said Mai Salama, Founding Partner of the Creative Industry Summit. The summit will discuss advertising, marketing, and communications by bringing together a pool of talents and renowned executive figures from Saudi Arabia and Egypt in various creative fields, such as advertising, marketing, communications, non-traditional financial institutions (NFTs), digital media, and content.

Salama added that the summit aims to provide a platform for industry experts to come together and exchange knowledge, share expertise, and open new cooperation channels through a series of panel sessions, workshops, and exhibitions. The summit also provides an opportunity to meet and connect with leading advertising companies and influential figures in the Saudi market.

“This Saudi-Egyptian cooperation in the advertising sector is an important step to encourage cooperation in the fields of organizing creative ceremonial events, by organizing conferences, speaking platforms, workshops, exhibitions, and innovative exhibitions, as well as developing and exchanging ideas between creative experts from both countries and building capacity through joint events,” she highlighted.

Mr. Mohamed bin Abdulelah Al-Khereiji, Head of the Advertising Committee for the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that the summit is critical to the Kingdom’s advertising industry, which is expanding rapidly. “The summit will bring together industry experts to create an in-depth understanding of the industry, expand the culture of creativity, and highlight investment opportunities in the sector with reputable experts from the Kingdom and Egypt,” Al-Khereiji said.

The summit will also contribute to the advancement of the advertising industry by sharing key insights, visions, and recommendations to pave the way forward as a testament to open dialogue from all industry players. It will also showcase successful international advertising and marketing models.

The Advertising Committee hopes to keep up with the changes in the advertising industry through the summit, which sheds light on the concept of a creative economy. This aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by broadening the scope of cooperation with companies locally, regionally, and globally, as well as attracting prominent leaders in the creativity field from around the world to exchange experiences and advance industry discussions.

This year’s Creative Industry Summit features a variety of activities and workshops led by advertising experts from major corporations, content designers, directors, and influential figures. Topics covered in the workshops include “How to Crack a Creative Brief,” “Creating Impactful Brands in the Middle East,” “Public Speaking,” and “How to Fight Purpose Fatigue and Learn People-First Branding.”

The Creative Industry Summit, founded in 2014, is Egypt’s first and only platform specializing in the creative industries, attracting hundreds of prominent specialists from around the world each year. For more than 8 years, the summit enriched participants’ creative aspects and provided experiences to young people in order to create eligible cadres of creative minds capable of advancing their industries and keeping up with developments and breakthroughs in creative industries.
