The purpose of the committee is to provide Chamber members and the wider business community with a forum in the transportation, logistics and supply chain sectors; to meet and develop contacts; to share information and know-how; to create a channel of communication to the Government; to share and highlight key trends, and to provide relevant insights for businesses to benefit and learn.
They also provide a central repository of knowledge from the complex pattern of traffic and transportation, shipping and receiving, import and export operations, warehousing, inventory management, purchasing, production planning, and customer service.
