Kapiti Coast Chamber Of Commerce
The Kāpiti Coast Chamber of Commerce champions and supports local business – and provides a collective voice.
Our role is to advance our local economy by creating wealth and employment, connecting people and working together to solve local business issues.
We’re a non-profit, independent organisation, and are part of a nationwide network of 30 chambers.
Run by a volunteer board of local business owners, Kāpiti Chamber is one of the most active smaller chambers in the country.
With over 300 members, we represent all parts of the business community – from small sole traders to some of the district’s biggest employers.
We provide a credible voice and advocate for local businesses on key issues, to both local and central government. Recently these have included issues around Kāpiti’s airport, the district’s roading and rail infrastructure projects and more.
During the COVID-19 lockdown and through the changing alert levels, we have offered business advice and support to the community including free training webinars, to help keep businesses on their feet.
We work alongside local businesses, encouraging and supporting them to succeed.
