Established in 1973, the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore (AmCham) is the largest and the most active international business association in Singapore and Southeast Asia, with over 5,200 members representing more than 700 companies. Our Chamber is comprised of 13 industry-specific committees and conducts nearly 250 events per year.

AmCham is a forward-thinking, business-progressive association.  Our mission is to create value for our members by providing advocacy, business insights, and connections. Our membership includes American companies and Singaporean and third-country companies with significant U.S. business interests.  AmCham is an independent, non-partisan business organization.  We are a member of the 28-chamber-strong AmChams of Asia Pacific (AAP).

Our goal is to provide the information and facilitate the access and connections that give members insight into the local, regional, and global operating environment, enhance their professional capabilities, and enable them to make well-informed business decisions.

Can non-American companies join AmCham?

Yes, about 35% of our member companies are non-American companies but have a business interest in the U.S. or have substantial ties to the U.S. Please complete the membership inquiry form and a representative from our membership team will contact you or email us directly at joinus@amcham.org.sg.

Does my company need to have an office in the U.S. to qualify for membership?

No. Your company does not need to have an office in the U.S. to become a member. However, we do require your company to have a relationship or business operation that influences U.S. commerce.

Can I join as an individual member?

No. Unfortunately, we do not offer individual memberships. If you are an employee of a company and your employer is not a member, we encourage your company to consider the many benefits of joining AmCham. How do I check if my company is a member of AmCham?

You may do a quick search through our Membership Directory using the “find” function. If your company is not listed and wishes to apply for membership, please complete the membership inquiry form and a representative will contact you. We have 10-15 new member companies that join every month, so please check with our membership team directly at joinus@amcham.org.sg to get the latest membership information.
