- The American Malaysian Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM) continues to be a powerful voice for the U.S. businesses in Malaysia. I am privileged to embark on such an exciting role as the new President of AMCHAM. I was appointed as Chief Executive Officer for AmMetLife Insurance Berhad in 2014 and I bring over 20 years of industry experience.I look forward to working together with the Board of Governors, Honorary Members and staff to propel AMCHAM through its next stage of growth. AMCHAM plays a key role in supporting our member’s needs by representing their views to the Malaysian and U.S. governments. It also provides networking opportunities for our member companies, entrepreneurs, businessmen and professionals to achieve business dynamism for Malaysia and the United States.AMCHAM works closely with various government agencies in Malaysia and will continue towards strengthening trade and commerce relations between Malaysia and the United States.
