The chamber

The Brazilian Chamber of Commerce in Japan – CCBJ – was founded in 2001, with the aim of increasing economic interaction between Brazil and Japan.

Conceived on a non-profit basis, on the initiative of a group of businessmen established in Japan and with the support of the Embassy of Brazil in Tokyo, the CCBJ aims to promote Japanese investment in Brazil and vice versa.

The year 2016 is a milestone for Brazil, as we will have the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The country is going through economic problems, but I believe in the sporting will to overcome this and carry out this mega event.

We also intend to organize business events through CCBJ in order to help Brazilian and Japanese companies in their business between the two countries. We are open to suggestions and willing to work hard for Brazil to grow in terms of business with Japan.

The 120 years of the Treaty of Friendship, Commerce and Navigation consolidate, more than ever, that these two countries have much in common and walk together in different sectors. Let’s, together, build history for the next century.
