The Institute of Commerce and Management of Rabat “ICOGER” is an initial and continuing vocational training center, created by Decision of the Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy No. 2966.14 of 22 Chawal 1435 (August 19, 2014) in Official Bulletin No. 6301 of 25 Dou Lhija 1435 (October 20, 2014).

 

The Institute will open its doors at the beginning of the 2017-2018 school year, will be managed by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (CCIS – RSK) with the supervision of the Office for Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT).

 

This center provides for the training of technicians in Commerce, Marketing and Accounting. In addition to its cultural dimensions (pedagogical and practical teaching), this project, in its creative philosophy, will also contribute to the economic development of the Region of Rabat, Salé, Kenitra by providing training and supervision for young students and employees of the private sector.

 

Sectors 

The Institute provides initial and continuing training.

INITIAL TRAINING:

The diploma will be delivered by the establishment, attesting to the obtaining of the grade of the sector and the specialty subject of the training. It will be issued under the conditions set by the regulations in force. The two sectors concerned are as follows:

 

1st   sector : COMMERCE AND MARKETING

– Sales Force Techniques,-

– Business law and commercial transactions,

– Marketing,

– E-commerce.

 

2nd SECTOR : ADMINISTRATIVE AND ACCOUNTING MANAGEMENT

– Finance Accounting;

– Financial Management Techniques;

– Sector studies,

– Project feasibility studies,

 

CONTINUOUS EDUCATION:

 

Organization of at least ten continuing education cycles, targeted and dedicated to private sector professionals, including the following modules:

– Professional languages ​​& communication;

– Quality;

– Office automation;

– Assistance in computer maintenance;

– Business law;

– Human ressources…

 

Objectives of the Institute:

  • Respond to the real needs expressed by companies in the region in terms of technicians as well as in terms of support and training for their employees and senior managers and middle managers;
  • Respond to the pressing demand from entrepreneurs to entrust management assignments to middle managers whose training meets their expectations;
  • Help local and regional SMEs and VSEs to upgrade their staff;
  • Direct the baccalaureate levels towards technological training for a 2-year cycle, at the end of which they have a better chance of being integrated into professional life.

 

PROJECT TARGET:

  1. Level of 2nd year of the Baccalaureate wishing to benefit from training allowing them to become technicians in commerce or accounting management;
  2. Employees of companies in the Region who need continuous training or further training in the courses offered by the Institute.
