The Cody Country Chamber of Commerce, Wyoming’s oldest, was founded at the turn of the 20th Century by George T. Beck, originally as a hunting club, and a group of enterprising Cody business leaders, including Col. William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody. Together Cody and the Cody Chamber of Commerce have nurtured a diversified business community focused on energy, tourism, agriculture, manufacturing, retail and the arts while fostering the western spirit epitomized by their namesake, William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody.
