About us

The Embassy of the Netherlands in the Philippines , together with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines, is hosting the #WokeWednesday series wherein we feature companies/organizations that promote the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) every Wednesday. For our fourth entry, we are featuring SolarNRG Philippines, provider of solar energy solutions in the Philippines.

SolarNRG provides their expertise in photovoltaic systems and promotes the growth of solar energy in the Philippine market. They offer tailor fit energy saving solutions on any island across the country—may it be industrial, commercial, or residential. The Philippines receives an average of 2100 hours of sunlight per year, one of the highest in the region, which translates to about 5 and half hours of clean, free, energy rich sunshine per day. The Philippines also has one of the highest average cost per KW/h of electricity in Asia, coming in 2nd only to Japan. These two key facts, coupled with SolarNRG’s high efficiency Dutch technology and expertise, have helped consistently decrease clients’ monthly operating expenses. Alongside the substantial reduction in expenses, utilizing solar energy helps reduce carbon footprint, recuse its impact on the environment, and promote sustainability which is becoming ever more vital for today’s eco-conscious consumers.

SolarNRG promotes SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy by helping provide affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy for Filipinos.
