The Galt District Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses and individuals working together to enhance the economic climate and quality of life in our community. We offer business referrals, advertising and networking opportunities for our members and act as an advocate for business at city, county, state, and federal levels. The chamber is an active and vital segment of this community and membership is an important way for businesses to be involved and support the local community.
Our Services :
Visitor / Information Center
Located at 604 N. Lincoln Way (inside the Galt Herald building), the Galt District Chamber of Commerce serves as the Visitors Center for the city of Galt. We provide information to visitors about lodging, dining, amenities, recreation and points of interest in Galt and the surrounding areas. We also serve as a resource for relocation materials for people interested in moving to Galt.
Events
The Chamber is proud to host several local events throughout the year that help bring our community together. Events such as the Wine, Beer & Food Tasting event, Eggstravaganza, Bridal Showcase, Home & Auto Show, and Holiday Shopping Showcase.
Grand Openings and Ribbon Cuttings
Encouraging success and expansion for local businesses and welcoming new business to our community is an integral part of the chamber’s support. The Chamber offers Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Opening Celebrations and Chamber Business Mixers.
Networking
The Chamber offers many networking opportunities for members. Monthly luncheons are held on the third Thursday of each month, which highlight informative speakers on subjects of interest to the local business community. The luncheons provide a great opportunity to informally interact with other local business leaders. We also schedule After-Hours Mixers on a regular basis. As a guest this is another wonderful networking opportunity, as a host it is a great way to show off your business to prospective clients/customers.
Publications
In addition to this annual Community Resource and Business Guide, the Chamber produces industry specific informational cards distributed at special events held throughout the city. Every Chamber member also receives a business listing on the Chamber website.
