The German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Morocco (AHK Morocco) is the competent partner for German-Moroccan economic relations. The AHK Morocco is the first address on site for many questions about the German or Moroccan market and, with over 600 members, has been an efficient system of mutual support since 1997. The AHK Morocco is part of the worldwide network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad (AHK) with 140 locations in 92 countries. This network advises, supports and represents German companies worldwide who want to set up or expand their foreign business. AHKs are German foreign trade promotion institutions. The Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce e. V. (DIHK)coordinates and continuously develops the network of German Chambers of Commerce Abroad. They are partially funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) .
The close partnership between the AHKs and the 79 Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs) in Germany guarantees an understanding of the needs of the economy. Due to the good cooperation of both structures at home and abroad, company inquiries can be processed directly by experts on site and with market-oriented solutionsget answered. Special country and regional events in the IHKs are prepared and carried out together with the respective AHKs. The IHKs are institutions of economic self-government. They represent the interests of all commercial companies in their regions to local authorities, state governments, politicians and the public. This creates a direct connection between the economy at home and abroad. The umbrella organization of the IHKs – and also the AHKs – is the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce. V. (DIHK).

The AHKs are the central players in German foreign trade promotion on behalf of the Federal Republic of Germany. You represent German business interests in your host countries. They provide information and promote Germany as a business location.

The AHKs gather around them the companies that are active in bilateral economic relations. These members give the AHK weight and voice when it appears in politics, business and administration to promote bilateral economic relations.

The AHKs offer companies from Germany and from the host country services to support their foreign trade activities under the service brand “DEinternational”. Official name The AHK Morocco operates officially under the name German Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Morocco – DIHK.
