Welcome to the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce, a membership driven organization comprised of businesses, community organizations and professional individuals. Working in partnership with the local business community, our mission is to be the Voice of Business in Langley by promoting and improving trade and commerce, and the economic, civic and social welfare of the District, Langley City, Langley Township and the community-at-large.
Established in 1931, the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce is proud to be an award-winning organization that continually strives to meet and exceed the needs of our members. With a 1020+ members, the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce is one of BC’s largest chambers of commerce. The chamber is nationally accredited with distinction and our mission is to “Create the best environment for business”.
The Greater Langley chamber is an active business organization engaged in policy development and advocacy that affects the competitiveness of our members and the Canadian business environment. The united voice of members expressed through the Chamber has a positive impact on issues facing business and the community at large. The Chamber is also a vehicle for business people from large and small businesses to connect and prosper together. The Chamber’s Board of Directors is made up of volunteers representing various business sectors in our community. Board members have extensive experience and understanding which adds tremendous value to the organization. The Chamber works closely with economic development organizations and all three levels of government to offer the perspective of Chamber members.
Primarily a small business organization, nearly 70% of the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce membership consists of companies that employ 20 people or fewer.
As the Chamber’s membership continues to grow, we are proud to offer Chamber members a strong program of events and we offer members numerous opportunities to meet and network on a monthly basis. The Chamber offers webinars and education sessions that covers topics ranging from Sales, Customer Service, Information Technology and Human Resources.
While attracting new members to the Chamber, emphasis has also been placed on servicing existing members with a comprehensive benefits package. These benefits are designed to save you money, assisting small, medium and large businesses and their employees.
Looking to the future, the Chamber is dedicated to addressing current issues and partnering with community organizations such as Fort Langley BIA, Walnut Grove Business Association, Downtown Langley BIA, Aldergrove Business Association, Brookswood Merchants Association, Tourism Langley and Discover Langley City to support continued growth and prosperity in our community.
The efforts of the Chamber are driven by a group of dedicated board members, committee members, staff and volunteers. The Greater Langley Commerce is one of the largest chambers in British Columbia and is an active member of both the BC Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce.
