About the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines
Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in the Philippines. It was officially established on November 26, 2014.
The Association was established to promote the common interests of the Philippines and Hong Kong. The goal and mission of the Chamber is to base itself in the Philippines and work with Hong Kong to promote win-win cooperation between the Philippines and Chinese mainland and Hong Kong by looking at China, ASEAN and other markets. After the establishment of the Association, the affairs of the Association have developed rapidly, and the current membership has increased from more than 300 to more than 600. Since its inception, the Association has often organized delegations to visit Hong Kong, Singapore and other places, as well as attended and participated in various important business forums. During his visit to Hong Kong, he also visited major government departments and local chambers of commerce to discuss and exchange ideas.
The Council also maintains good relations and close cooperation with official departments such as the HKTDC, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office and investHK. Every year, together with the HONG KONG TRADE DEVELOPMENT Council and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Division, the Hong Kong Handover Celebration is held here, and the Investment Forum is held together with investhkhkhkrelsk. In May 2017, the COUNCIL hosted the 14th Asia Forum. Leaders of the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Japan, Vietnam, Singapore, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and other places in The Asian region of the HKTDC and the Hong Kong Federation of Business Associations, together with 20 colleagues of the HKTDC, a total of 50 representatives attended the meeting. In June 2017, in order to warmly celebrate the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR, the HKECIA, together with the Hong Kong Trade And Economic Affairs Department and the HKTDC, organised the Belt and Road Forum and the Gala Dinner with guests from Hong Kong, representatives of major Philippine and Chinese organisations, as well as hkit-suite members, as well as more than 800 people attending.
Nowadays, the Association has become a major society with weight in the Philippine-Chinese society, and on many important occasions of the Chinese society, the Association has invited representatives to attend. The Association also actively participates in various charitable activities in the Chinese community and even in the mainstream society of the Philippines.
