A Brief History
The Indo-American Global Chamber of Commerce (IAGCC), originally incorporated as IACC USA INC, the first US subsidiary formed by the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, India Inc, (IACC India), changed its name as part of its still expanding international focus. While maintaining its close relations with its founding organization, IAGCC broadened mission is reflected in the partnership it has developed with, among others, GOPIO (Global Organization of People of Indian Origin) representing some 20,000 worldwide members not only in the United States but all over the globe.IAGCC is in the process of forging similar relationship with FICCI (Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry) the premiere Chamber of Commerce in India & others.
Who We Serve / Our Services
The major objective of IAGCC is to promote Indo-American business, trade and economic relations through emphasis on multi-lateral trade, investment and technology transfer, business collaborations, joint ventures, marketing tieups and strategic alliances through a set of proactive business-oriented initiatives by among other means:
Collecting and disseminating statistics and relevant information and undertaking to carry out and/or assist and collaborate in carrying out research and/or studies pertaining to the commercial and industrial relations between the United States, India and elsewhere.
Promoting and protecting the trade, commerce and manufactures of its members and in particular the trade, commerce and manufactures of Indo-American collaboration companies; Establishing a forum for discussion and deliberation of matters and problems relating to the mutual interests of members, by organizing seminars, conferences and meetings in the United States,India & elsewhere.
