The idea of ​​establishing the Iraqi Business Council was launched based on the common desire that was generated by a number of Iraqi investors and businessmen present on the land of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as they unanimously agreed on the importance of forming an economic reference for them and those who wish to join them contribute to concerting their efforts and uniting them in order to achieve their required understanding and convergence. Which aims to actively contribute to discovering ways that enable these investors to contribute effectively to the efforts of rebuilding Iraq in various fields and to present the national role required of them at this stage to help overcome the challenges and problems facing the great Iraqi people, and I found the idea of ​​establishing the Iraqi Business Council A good and blessed echo from the government of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the approval of the competent Jordanian authorities was thankfully obtained for the launch of the Iraqi Business Council in Jordan.
The Iraqi Business Council objectives strives to achieve stretch beyond the outlined ones; to everything that benefits the great people of Iraq, and can be referred to as follows:
– Endeavoring to make IBC as the key motivation to develop and promote trade and investments between Jordan and Iraq.
– Contributing to the development of local civil society.
– Enhancing trade and industrial promotion and investment between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Republic of Iraq.
– Acting as a connecting link between Chambers of Commerce in Iraq and other trade organizations with the Jordanian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and working to promote trade interests of Jordanian and Iraqi civil societies.
– Collaborate with individuals and other organizations regarding issues of common interest and benefit.
– Acquaint Jordanian and Iraqi Investors with investment opportunities between the two countries.
– Facilitate encounters between IBC members and competent personnel in the Jordanian and Iraqi Authorities.
– Creation of data bank for investment, trade and industrial opportunities between the two countries.
– Extend assistance to IBC members to promote their investment status in the Kingdome in coordination with the Jordanian Authorities.
