t is understood that our chamber was operating in 1897, and issued its first official certificate in 1945. Kocaeli Chamber of Commerce being Turkey’s most rooted chamber organizations, is divided into two in December 1988 by the establishment of Gebze Chamber of Commerce, and then division continued with the establishment of Kocaeli Chamber of Industry in June 1989. The division process was completed in 1999 with the establishment of the Körfez Chamber of Commerce.
