WE ARE CCINO

The North-West Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a public establishment of economic interest endowed with legal personality and financial autonomy and placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce. It is a non-profit institution.
On December 11, 1994, the North-West Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCINO) began its activity in the North-West district: Béja, Jendouba, Le Kef and Siliana.

Its head office is located in Béja. The members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the North-West are natural or legal persons, carrying out in their district an activity relating to the sectors of commerce, industry, services, crafts as well as the promotion of small trades. They must be :

  • Trader or industrialist registered in the commercial register, or service provider.
  • Craftsman having declared his activity in accordance with the legislation in force.

The CCINO committee is made up of 30 members elected by the companies for a renewable period of 5 years. The committee draws up the CCINO’s action plan and meets at least once a quarter.
The office of the CCINO is made up of 9 members elected from among the 30 members of the committee, the Office proposes the action plan and ensures its execution and monitoring.

 

OUR MISSION

The North-West Chamber of Commerce and Industry has in particular the mission of (Defined by law n° 2006-75 of November 30, 2006, relating to chambers of commerce and industry):

  • Contribute to promoting the private sector and boosting initiative and investment in the region
  • Provide public authorities with all proposals, opinions and information relating to the trade, industry, services and crafts sectors
  • Contribute to the strengthening of cooperation and partnership relations with foreign countries
  • Provide training and provide economic information
  • Provide business services
