Orhangazi Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established at the end of 1983 and held its first board meeting on 30 January 1984. Turgut ÜNLÜ, Ahmet AYDIN, Mehmet Bölükbaşi and Ayet DURMUŞ participated in this meeting under the chairmanship of Mustafa Fevzi AYHAN. The first organ elections were held on February 21, 1984, and the first board of directors was formed as follows. Orhan ÖCALGİRAY, chairman of the board of directors, Aykut ÖRGÜN, deputy chairman of the board, Erdoğan TEOMAN, accountant member, and İbrahim BAYSAL, the board member.
