About us

The Taiwan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines, Inc. ( TCCI ) was established on March 18, 1988. In 1989, the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in the Philippines ( 中華民國駐菲律賓代表處 ) approved the chamber’s Chinese name as ” 旅菲中華民國台灣工商協會 “. But in 2005, the Chinese name of the chamber was then again changed to “ 菲律賓台灣商會 “ to adapt with the latest trends during that time; and 4 years later, in 2010 until now, TCCI was then titled as ” 菲律賓台灣工商總會 “ to integrate and promote connections between foreign and local organizations.

TCCI’s mission was to become an active, efficient and influential social organization, with a view to promote various cultural, economic and business interactions between Taiwan and the Philippines through the organization. The Chamber will uphold the belief in the integration of humanities, economy and trade in the global village, encourage active communication with other local Chinese and foreign chambers and associations, and maintain the interaction with pertinent and significant units of the Philippine government. In this way, its members, such as local Taiwanese businessmen and business people of different nationalities or friends, who intend to settle and do business in the Philippines can have a trustworthy consultation channel and exchange platform. The TCCI directors’ primary goal should focus on how to protect and safeguard the members’ rights and preserve their well-being. With the continuous enrichment of the information platform, they should expect to connect and interact with associations or people in different regions, and hope to create more businesses, information dissemination and people relations and interaction.
