The Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD) was established by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) under the approval of the Government in Official Dispatch No. 6334/VPCP-KGVX dated September 8th/ 2010. The board was officially launched on December 17, 2010.
VBCSD is a business-oriented organization whose mission is to promote the active role and enthusiastic support of the business community in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Strategy in Vietnam, facilitating the sharing of experience and good practices, strengthen close coordination and dialogue between the business community, the Government and partners in society to promote sustainable development.
