VISION:
To be an influential Chamber of Commerce for the business community with commercial interests between Singapore and Vietnam.
MISSION:
To serve our Members by building business networks, encourage trade and investment by creating opportunities through events, sharing of information and facilitating communication with the government.
OBJECTIVES:
- Provide a highly respected forum on an organised, continuing basis in which business entities in the South-East Asia region, particularly Singapore and Vietnam, can discuss and identify common economic and commercial interests;
- Collaborate with and complement activities of existing professional business groups in Singapore and the South-East Asia region on matters related to the economic and commercial activities of our Members; and
- Promote business relations amongst Members as well as other enterprises and business associations.
A Brief History
VietCham Singapore was founded in February 2014 to represent and support the Vietnamese and Vietnam-related business community in Singapore as well as to promote commercial activities between Vietnam and Singapore.
In December 2015, VietCham Singapore was officially incorporated as an independent, non-profit, membership organisation in Singapore under the legal name of “VietCham (The Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce Ltd.), with senior management of some of the largest Vietnamese companies in Singapore (such as YKVN and VinaCapital), Singaporean companies (such as KenRidgeAsia, Eames Capital and Epsilon Mobile) as well as several other Vietnamese executives, professionals and entrepreneurs in Singapore as Charter Members.
