About us

Italy and Bangladesh are two friendly countries and this relationship has contributed in socio economic development, culture, education, infrastructure, know how transfer, trade, business migration, human resource exchange with skills development, capacity building and in many areas.

The global economic scenario is changing very fast. The main objective to form IBCCI was to contribute, work, research and support in bilateral trade and investment in Japan and Bangladesh. IBCCI is like a bridge for match making and interaction among the entrepreneurs, investors, traders, industries and trade bodies in two countries. It can help for research works in trade, FDI, business migration, fair, seminar organizing and product launching. IBCCI is also working together with different trade associations of two countries. The affairs of the Chamber are managed by the Board of Directors.

With the value expertise of honorable members from different business sector from the two countries, IBCCI is committed to serve the business community of Italy and Bangladesh at every step for promoting Trade and Investment for economic prosperity of both the countries.

Objective and Major Function of IBCCI

· — To foster a spirit of cooperation among all members so that they may work together for the development of Economic, Commercial, Industrial, Financial, Cultural, Educational & other bilateral ties between Bangladesh & Italy.

· — To promote and protect the Trade, Commerce, Industrial, Cultural, Educational, Tourism and other bilateral ties between the two friendly countries Italy & Bangladesh.

· — To collect &disseminate business information in Italy and Bangladesh.

· — To maintain liaison with the electronic & press media and encourage wide coverage of IBCCI activities.

· — To look after the difficulties, obstacles members will be facing with import/export, duty structures, transportation, shipping, dumping, antidumping, IPR or other Trade related issues.

· — To publish quarterly News bulletin of IBCCI.
