The chambers of commerce, industry and services today are considered a major partner in achieving national economic development and a key player in the new development model workshops, as constitutional institutions serving professionals and economic actors and the national economy. in their field of business.
Considering what the new basic law entitles to the chambers’ competencies and in the field of interaction with the sound vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, and his directives that emphasized the need to establish a good perspective for the chambers of commerce, industry and services at the national level to organize and develop them in the light of national and international changes defined by economic policies, In order to activate the role of the chambers in the field of economic development, and also to activate the role of the chambers in the diplomatic field and institutional relations, and make it a real lever for investment, we aspire as a new presidency of the chamber and with the association of the managing office , the general assembly and the administrative body of the institution during the current phase, extending from 2021 to 2027, to work according to an ambitious strategic plan This is consistent with the sound vision of His Majesty, by achieving a number of priorities that we will work on in the current process of formulating our strategic plan and preparing an ambitious and realistic program of work. It aims to strengthen the foundations of the regional economy and crystallize the new development project, which were identified in :
1- Contribute to liberating the region’s economic potential, improving investment and business opportunities and attracting new capital and projects, especially in the region’s strategic areas of the automotive, textile, food industries, beach, mountain and cultural tourism and other promising sectors.
2- Improving spatial justice and ensuring economic integration between the currencies and regions of the region, working to reverse the developmental pace of some regions and benefiting from the region’s economic momentum and structuring projects (Mediterranean port, high-speed train, renewable energies) and making its development revenues available to all regions.
3- Taking advantage of the new provisions contained in the Organic Law of Chambers 18.09 to enhance cooperation between regional institutions and create joint projects with them, foremost of which are the Council of the Region, the major territorial collectivities, the university and the regional investment center.
4- Giving special importance to the issue of capacity development among economic actors. In this regard, we intend to launch targeted programs targeting different segments of professionals in order to train, supervise and develop capabilities in the areas of their exploitation.
5- Giving a strong impetus to the regional enterprise exploiting in the digital fields and the green and blue economies, given that our involvement in these two tracks will enhance our country’s position at the international level in the coming years.
6- Developing the mechanisms of the communication room and investing modern technology in transferring information for the benefit of its members and the general economic actors and investors to provide comprehensive information and data on the economic situation in the region.
In this regard, based on the accumulated experiences and expertise at the level of practice and management within this institution, we believe in the strength of the participatory approach and joint action, and we bet on the important energies that our Chamber is rich in, and we bet on our good relations with various partners, led by the Wilayat Wilayat Foundation. We are certain that we will, by God’s grace and strength, take basic steps that will make our Chamber a leading economic institution in the service of the economy and professionals.
