Jaleshwor Chamber of Commerce & Industry

Jaleshwar Industry and Commerce Association Jaleshwar, Mahottari Registered in District Administration Office Mahottari Jaleshwar in the year 2047 with the aim of protecting and promoting the rights and interests of industrialists and traders while developing and expanding industrial business for economic and social transformation of the nation to make the nation’s economy fair, capable, strong and independent. It is an umbrella organization of leading industrialists representing the unbroken succession, self-governing, non-profit, non-political private sector.

3 (three) members including Mr. Ramesh Pandey and Mr. Suresh Jalan also formed the Election Committee to hold the election on 23rd Kartik 2047. Similarly, the second meeting held on 17th Kartik 2047 discussed the draft law and passed it unanimously. A 15-member working committee was unanimously elected under the chairmanship of Mr. Ram Ratan Sah ‘Raman’ on the pre-determined date of 23rd Kartik and from the first meeting of the first elected working committee held on the same day on 23rd Kartik 2047, the Constitutional Monarchy Constitution of Nepal 2047 will be announced by the then King Birendra Bir Bikram Shahdev Shah. Expressing gratitude for the Constitution, decisions were made to celebrate Diwali in the evening.
Thus, in different periods and terms of this Jaleshwar Industry and Commerce Association, there have been 4 presidents namely Mr. Ram Ratan Sah ‘Raman’, Mr. Rama Prasad Jalan, Mr. Ram Kapur Sah and currently Mr. Kripa Shankar Sah.

Assets of the Association
This Jaleshwar Industry and Commerce Association has its own 1 storied building. The ground floor building was inaugurated by Mr. Ravi Bhakta Shrestha, then president of Nepal Federation of Commerce and Industry on 2nd Paush 2059 and the first floor building was inaugurated by Mr. Kush Kumar Joshi, then president of Nepal Federation of Commerce and Industry on 14th Kartik 2066. The secretariat of the association is located on the first floor. Household and small industries office on the ground floor has been restored to Mahottari. There are 4 rooms and a meeting hall on the first floor where the secretariat of Jaleshwar Industry and Commerce Association is located. The meeting hall of this association has fulfilled the need of a meeting hall with a capacity of about 200 people to hold meetings and conferences in this area to a certain extent, and the rent of the meeting hall is also a major source of income for this association.
