Since 2000, 45 members of the association have been awarded honorary academicians, academicians and associate academicians by the Hong Kong council for accreditation of industries, and more than 30 members have been awarded the qualification of cleaner production enterprises or national cleaner production auditors in guangdong province. As of June 2014, the association has about 210 members.
