Established in 1954, the Chinese import and export chamber of commerce is one of the major Chambers of commerce in Hong Kong. Its current President is Mr. Lam lung on, jp, a deputy to the National People’s Congress. Since the first term of the legislative council of the Hong Kong special administrative region, members of the import and export functional constituency have been elected by the council. The current members are honorary President of the council, Mr Wong ting-kwong, GBS,JP.
