In the 1970s, Macao’s textile processing industry developed vigorously and gradually attracted the attention of the society and the government. In order to increase the cohesion of the industry, the chamber of commerce of Macao woolen textile mills was formally registered and established in 1978, becoming a highly professional chamber of commerce in the textile and clothing industry.
