The Indonesian Synthetic Resin Association is a communication forum for chemical industry players engaged in resins and plasticizers.

This ARSI container was formed in 2006 based on the initiative of several ARSI founders. And submitted by Hamid Bagdadi, Haryadi Satyadinata, Purwanto, Markus Winarto, Halim Chandra, Herman Widjaja and Albertus Nugroho.

The legality and submission of the founders of ARSI was legalized before the Notary Aliya S Azhar and colleagues with the main objective to further advance the resin and plasticizer industry in Indonesia.

At the beginning of its establishment ARSI still used the name ASRI (Indonesian Synthetic Resin Association) which was later refined to ARSI in 2012.
