A beloved voice of Southeast Texas for over five decades, Caldwell has become a household name through his work on KLVI News Talk 560, where his wit, wisdom and unwavering dedication to the community have earned him the title of local icon.
Caldwell’s radio career has been defined by authenticity, passion and a deep love for Beaumont and its people. As host of the long running “Al Caldwell Morning Show,” he has informed, entertained and inspired generations of listeners. But it’s his work off the air—supporting nonprofits, mentoring youth and shining a spotlight on issues that matter—that truly exemplifies the heart of this year’s honoree.
Known for his unmatched work ethic and trademark charm, Caldwell’s contributions extend far beyond the microphone. Whether championing local causes or celebrating Beaumont’s triumphs, he has remained a constant source of positivity and pride for the region.
The award will be presented at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting on Oct. 7 at the Beaumont Civic Center.
