Chamber of Commerce Honors Exemplary Community Members

On February 9th, the Heart of the Rockies Chamber of Commerce celebrated outstanding community members at their annual awards ceremony held at the Salida SteamPlant. Licia Iverson received the prestigious From the Heart award for her exceptional volunteerism and spirit of generosity, while Bonnie Poser was honored with the Cornerstone award for her long-standing dedication to the community, spanning various roles from teaching parenting classes to managing the gift shop at Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center and volunteering at the First Presbyterian Church food pantry.
In addition, Cara Reano and the entire staff at REACH Air Medical Services were recognized with the Wanted award for their invaluable service to the county, and Joe Smith of Collegiate Peaks Bank was named Citizen of the Year for his significant contributions to the community. Other notable awardees included Eye Candy for Business of the Year and Jason Maxwell of Tres Litros Beer Co. for Entrepreneur of the Year, both praised for their commitment to supporting and enhancing the community.
