MANISTEE — The Ramsdell Regional Center for the Arts’ Tuesday Talks continues with Blade Gates.
The marketing and communications specialist for the Manistee Area Chamber of Commerce will speak at 10 a.m. on July 29. The program is free and open to the public.
“What Does a Chamber of Commerce Do” is the question Gates will answer in his presentation. He also plans to discuss the chamber’s priorities along with why it is important to Manistee County.
Gates grew up in Manistee, and earned a bachelor’s in communications from Hope College. When he’s not at the chamber, Gates is often involved in the performing arts and has worked closely with several local fine arts organizations, including the Arts & Culture Alliance of Manistee County, Manistee Civic Players, Manistee Middle High School Bands, Michigan Playwrights Project, Ludington Area Center for the Arts and the Ramsdell.
