The American Chamber of Commerce of Peru (AmCham Peru) is an independent and non-profit organization, founded on April 30, 1960, which has more than 5,000 representatives from 580 associated companies including Peruvians, Americans and non-Americans abroad. It promotes the principles that encourage the economy, the market, investment and trade, all within a framework of social responsibility, values and business ethics.
All AmCham Peru members are part of the Association of American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (AACCLA), which has 24 chambers of commerce in 28 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. AACCLA is made up of more than 20,000 associates that gather 80% of American investments in the region and is part of the United States Chamber of Commerce (USCC), the largest federation of entrepreneurs in the world with more than 3 million Associates
