Bergama Chamber of Commerce started to work as Bergama Chamber of Commerce and Industry by choosing the first chairman of the board on 20 August 1925. In 1947, the qualification of the Chamber of Industry was removed and it continued its services as the Chamber of Commerce.
In order to raise the service infrastructure and quality standards instead of the building it has been serving since 1959, the foundations of a new service building were laid in 2016. On 02.04.2018, the opening ceremony of the new service building was held with the participation of Rıfat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, and Bergama Chamber of Commerce started to serve in its new location.
Bergama Chamber of Commerce was established with 165 members, but today it serves 1,938 members. In addition to the services it provides within the framework of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) numbered 5174 and the Chamber and Commodity Exchanges Law, our Chamber also provides Social Assistance services for the Institutional and Individual Development of its Members, Education and Health.
Today, in order to increase the service diversity and increase the service quality of Bergama Chamber of Commerce, the first Strategic Plan of the institution has been prepared and targets have been determined. In order to achieve strategic goals and strengthen the institutional structure, our institution continues the Accreditation Studies carried out by TOBB with great care.
